MEET THE OWNER/ARTISAN

Kelsie Nelsen

Licensed Esthetician · Platinum TrueBrow Specialist · Certified Lash Specialist

Initially pursuing medical esthetics in 2013, Kelsie quickly discovered her passion for tedious and transformative esthetic artistry. She loves the relaxing nature of brow and lash services, and as an advocate for self-care being essential, Kelsie takes great joy in providing a safe space where guests come to feel refreshed and recharged.

Kelsie first opened her business in 2013 as a home-based salon in Utah. Due to a move overseas, the opening was brief. In late 2013, she reopened in Okinawa, Japan where she quickly gained a loyal clientele until her move back to Iowa in 2017. Raised in Ankeny, Iowa, Kelsie returned home to open Artisan Brow & Lash Studio and share her love for the TrueBrow Method and her lash expertise. Since Artisan’s opening in 2017, Kelsie has continuously sought out advanced education opportunities around the US from industry experts to continue her professional growth. Known for her immense attention to detail and genuine client care, Kelsie has carved her niche in providing naturally noticeable results that honor her clients’ beauty at every stage of life.
